TWEST Teen Industrial Design Workshop
What is industrial design? Come to this one-day workshop to find out! The field of industrial design bridges the gap between form and function. Industrial designers create products people use every day, from lamps to chairs to coffee cups. In the same way Frank Lloyd Wright created his own household goods, participants in this workshop will tackle hands-on design projects and prototyping challenges created by the Foundation’s own Industrial Designer, Seyla Muise.

TWEST Teen Interior Design Workshop
Participants will step into an introductory day of immersive, hands-on exploration of interior design. Guided by industry professionals and practicing designers, students will learn to think, build, and compose spaces with the precision of a professional interior designer. Guest speakers include local interior designer Amy Williams.
The day begins with an exploration of foundational design principles where they will study how space, color, light, and texture interact to shape the way a room feels. Translating theory into practice, students will then curate and construct a small scale model of their own idealized space. Working with a curated library of textiles and material samples, each participant will bring their unique vision to life, leaving with both a refined spatial perspective and a tangible model of their design.
