Social Media The Wright Way

We will demonstrate several ways to engage with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation’s social media channels, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.

You can use your existing accounts on these platforms. If you don’t already have an account on one or more of them, you’ll need to create a personal profile before you can comment on, like, or share content.

After setting up your profile—or using an existing one—go to each platform and click “Follow” on the Foundation’s page. This ensures that the Foundation’s posts will appear in your feed, making it easier to stay informed and engage with the content.

Why Add a Tag in a Post?

Tagging is a valuable tool in social media because it increases visibility, engagement, and reach. By tagging the Foundation, you link your post to our presence, helping to connect with a broader audience. This can attract more attention to the Foundation’s content and encourage interaction. Tagging the Foundation can also amplify your message and extend your post’s reach across networks.

You first need to be logged in to LinkedIn. To locate the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation profile, use the search option in the top left corner and enter Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.

There are three options to interact with posts from the Foundation’s LinkedIn profile.

Option #1: Click the Like icon, and your like is added to the post.

Option# 2: Click the Comment icon. Add your comment(s) and press the enter/return key on your keyboard to post your comment.

Option #3: Click the Repost icon. Add your comment(s) if you wish, or press the enter/return key on your keyboard, and the repost will appear on your LinkedIn page.

When posting your comments on your personal LinkedIn profile, you can tag the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation by using the “@” symbol followed by the name: @Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. If the tag is successful, the name will appear in bold and the “@” symbol will disappear, turning the text into a clickable link to the Foundation’s LinkedIn profile.

In the example shown, the Foundation’s name is bolded and linked correctly. Joe Specter was also tagged, and a link was added pointing to the Foundation’s website homepage, which appears at the bottom of the post.
