ABOUT
Every original begins with inspiration.
For artists Future Retrieval, that inspiration was Taliesin West. After spending
time immersed in Frank Lloyd Wright’s desert laboratory, they created a
series of original works that respond to the architecture, landscape, history,
and spirit of the site.
Now it’s your turn.
As you explore the exhibition, you’ll encounter unexpected installations
woven throughout Wright’s iconic spaces—objects, textures, forms, and ideas
that reveal how one place can inspire many different creative responses.
Originals is more than art. It’s an invitation to ask yourself:
• What inspires me?
• What idea have I been waiting to pursue?
• What perspective have I not considered?
• What could I create if I looked at the world differently?
Whether it’s a work of art, a new way of thinking, a personal project, or a
change in how you live, every original begins with a spark. Find yours at
Taliesin West.
