Sunday Marin Farmers Market

The Sunday Marin Farmers Market first opened in 1987, and has grown to become the third largest farmers market in California. Local eaters and visitors alike, convene every Sunday to enjoy the fresh, seasonal harvests of California’s world renowned farms and ranches, as well as discover some of the most sought after prepared foods in the region. Despite gaining recognition throughout the country, the Sunday Civic Center market remains an essential food hub for the local Marin communities and beyond. Featuring over 200 local farmers and ranchers, specialty food purveyors, and artisans selling handmade textiles, ceramics, jewelry, and more.

Visit the market every Sunday, rain or shine, and see why the Marin farmers market is one of the largest local gatherings in the State.


October 1-31
Visions of Hope

Visions of Hope features impactful stories and art created by over 120 men and women currently incarcerated in California state prisons. Local community members created winged heart sculptures which the men and women painted as part of sharing their heart story. Experience the moving art and learn about advocacy groups at the forefront of California’s pioneering efforts in criminal justice reform.

Three Ladies Sing the Blues

These powerhouse, internationally known touring and recording artists from right here in the Bay Area have been ambassadors and spreading joy and happiness all around the world. You don’t want to miss this rare occasion where they are all in the Same Place at the Same Time spreading some joy and good vibes just for you.
Terri Odabi will draw you into her world with her inspiring and powerful voice & lyrics. Her message of peace, equality and love are unmistakable while bringing the news about what it was, what it is and what it can be.
Tia Carroll brings her own style of energy and spark to the stage with her unique approach. It’s all about a good time, dancing shoes and maybe a few tissues for the emotional cuts.
Ladee Bianca, is a force of nature. Once seated on her throne (piano bench) she will show you where all the blues, soul, gospel, rock, country etc., came from. She has sung with the likes of Van Morrison, Frank Zappa and Merle Haggard.

2024 Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival National Finals

The Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival is the premier American showcase for vocal harmony music. The annual national competition draws from hundreds of vocal groups from around the country with regional competitions in eight cities. The winning group from each festival is flown to perform in front of celebrity judges and a sold out house of enthusiastic a cappella fans at the National Finals.

The Cole Porter Society Salutes Motown

Once again, we honor the music of the Motor City with your favorite past performers along with some new surprises!
Come join us in tribute to your favorite groups and soloists: The Temptations, The Four Tops, Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, Aretha Franklin, Martha and the Vendelas, Michael Jackson and more…

Local vocalists and talented young people will combine to create an afternoon of high energy, hand-clapping, sing-along joyful fun that benefit The Cole Porter Society’s mission to celebrate and honor our musical history with R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

Warren Miller’s “75”

Warren Miller is going big for 75 years! Stacked with unbelievable action and unexpected stories, Warren Miller’s 75 will bring fans to powder stashes and chutes around the world, from Canada, Colorado, California, and Utah to Finland, Japan, Austria, and New Jersey. Catch a diverse lineup of snowsports legends, Olympic hopefuls, world champions, X Games stars, and emerging talents on the big screen this fall, including snowboarders Shaun White, Jeremy Jones, Danny Davis, and Toby Miller, plus skiers Max Hitzig, Lexi duPont, Caite Zeliff, Mark Abma, and Aaron Blunck.

With original segments and unique collaborations, this year’s film will set the tone for the next 75 years of ski and snowboard filmmaking. Get ready for the celebration that is 75.

Pride and Joy’s Annual Halloween Bash

The name says it all…..
During its many years of phenomenal success, Pride & Joy SF has remained the most popular party band on the Bay Area music scene. This group is the Pride of the Bay Area and a Joy to anyone who loves to dance. They have achieved this by presenting the most timeless pop/soul music of our time in an electrifying high-style show that pulls the audience directly into the heart of their performance.

Buffett’s Margaritaville: A Tribute To Jimmy Buffett

Welcome to the electrifying tribute show to the one and only Jimmy Buffett – Buffett’s Margaritaville! Get ready to be transported to a tropical paradise, where the sun is shining, the waves are crashing, and the margaritas are flowing.

This show is an explosive celebration of the iconic music of Jimmy Buffett, featuring all of his greatest hits that will have you singing along and dancing in your seat. With a band that is as talented as it is passionate, you’ll be treated to a performance that captures the essence of Buffett’s music and the lifestyle it embodies.

Odissi Vilas

Odissi Vilas is delighted to return to Marin with a special Festival of Lights (Diwali) Odissi performance. This evening celebration will include a solo performance by Guru Shri Vishnu Tattva Das, founder and artistic director of Odissi Vilas, California; a duet by Samir Panigrahi and Santosh Ram, senior dancers of Rudrakshya Foundation, India; a group dance by the Odissi Vilas ensemble, and more. Join us for a memorable evening of deep immersion in this sacred Indian dance form

Marin Barbershop Chorus Presents: Smooth Sounds of the Sixties

Come join our journey to the magical, musical sixties, when doo-wop filled the radio airwaves with smooth, easy-listening a capella harmonies. The fabulous song writers and singers like Neil Sedaka and The Del Vikings charmed us with stories of love and romance and hope. The Greats like Elvis Presley, John Sebastian, The Tymes, and The Everly Brothers, added the tunes that stirred our souls and moved our feet to the swinging rhythms. Even if you weren’t around then, it’s time for all to be enthralled at the Marin Barbershop Chorus’s show in the Showcase Theatre Sunday, November 3rd. Featured also will be Western Edition, a prize-winning barbershop quartet from around the Bay Area known for their charm and tight harmonies.

Veterans’ Day

Honor those who have served our country. Marin’s Veterans’ Day program will begin in the Marin Veterans’ Memorial Auditorium with music, military exercises and a brief address. It will continue in front of the World War I, World War II and Korean, Vietnam and Merchant Marine Memorials on the Avenue of the Flags. Refreshments will be served after the ceremony in the Redwood Foyer.

The Spouse Whisperer

The Spouse Whisperer, a comedic journey that starts with ‘love at first sight’ ’til death do us part’ and all of the funny stuff in between. The Spouse Whisperer is cool, it’s hilarious, and there is never a dull moment. King of comedy Robin Williams said”The Spouse Whisperer is hilarious! I never stopped laughing.

The Amazing Bubble Man

Louis Pearl has been thrilling audiences around the world for over 30 years with the art, magic, science and fun of bubbles. He is a favorite at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where he has enjoyed twelve years of sell-out success.

Louis explores the breath-taking dynamics of bubbles, combining comedy and artistry with audience participation and enough spellbinding bubble tricks to keep everyone mesmerized. From square bubbles, bubbles inside bubbles, fog-filled bubbles, giant bubbles, bubble volcanoes, tornados and trampolines to people inside bubbles, the Amazing Bubble Man conjures shrieks of laughter and gasps of amazement from all ages.

Sanctuaries: An Evening with Anne Lamott and Jai Uttal.

Bestselling author and activist Anne Lamott and world renowned, Grammy nominated musician Jai Uttal will join together to present an evening of holy music and beloved stories. Duke Ellington’s “ It don’t mean a thing if it aint got that swing” tribute stars the Sultry Jazz Singer from Oakland,  Kim Nalley & the outstanding SF Jazz Stylist Paula West on Friday, November 23 at 7:00 p.m., 2024.

Duke Ellington is an American icon who changed how the world heard music. An outstanding musician, charismatic band leader, and prolific composer, the Washington, D.C. native was an innovator across an expansive and eclectic range of styles…from pop and theatrical to swing, fusion, and beyond.

Former Ladies of The Supremes

In 1986,  Scherrie Payne, Lynda Laurence & Jean Terrell – all former Supremes – reformed and decided to start a new group.  Their vision was to rekindle the glamour, style and music of The Supremes.  The name for the trio was a natural evolution….
The Former Ladies of The Supremes have performed live in concert and appeared on TV Shows throughout Europe, the Middle East and the Orient alongside such stellar acts as Tom Jones, James Brown, Sister Sledge, The Temptations, Martha & the Vandellas, The Four Tops, The Three Degrees and The Commodores, just to name a few. These international appearances have allowed the world to experience again the music, charm, and elegance of this timeless act on a grand scale. They have also released several popular albums in Europe, such as the fan favorite, “Supremely Yours.”
