When the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation approached Epicurean Cutting Systems with a vision to create a product line inspired by Wright’s designs, the resulting collection made a bold appearance at Crate & Barrel.
At Epicurean, we were very excited to collaborate with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation to create pieces that combine Frank Lloyd Wright’s passion for great design with fine culinary experiences.

The design process was a true partnership. We worked closely with the Foundation to make sure the products had Wright’s touch infused throughout. Products were inspired by iconic geometry and patterns from Wright’s work, specifically Wright’s Tree of Life, Whirling Arrow, and the Avery Coonley Playhouse.
When thinking who would be the perfect retail partner for this collection, we immediately thought of Crate & Barrel. Epicurean has worked with C&B for more than 10 years and we both have Midwestern roots shared by Frank Lloyd Wright, so the partnership was a natural fit.
The Epicurean collection at Crate & Barrel is launching with 9 SKUs. There will be five utensils, three prep boards, and a large serving board.
