Frank Lloyd Wright’s Goetsch-Winckler House For Sale

The early Usonian 1940 Goetsch-Winkler House in Okemos, Michigan by Frank Lloyd Wright is for sale at $479,000.

It is said that this tight-knit home nestled in a heavily wooded site near Michigan State University was Frank Lloyd Wright’s “favorite small house.” The Goetsch-Winkler property has been thoroughly restored by the current owners of 13 years to keep the home as original as possible. The house features board-and-batten walls that emphasize its horizontal design, clerestory windows, and floor-to-ceiling windows to bring the outside in. You’ll also find many examples of original Wright-designed furniture and built-ins throughout.
