Taliesin West Participation Terms
The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation (herinafter the “Foundation”) is a non-profit corporation which arranges tours and programs (“Tours and Programs”) of Taliesin West in Scottsdale Arizona (the “Site”).
By making a reservation, the person specified in the booking will be deemed to have accepted these terms on behalf of all persons named within the booking. Within these terms, “you,” means all persons named in the booking.
The Site consists of a large complex of buildings and land in a natural desert setting. There are uneven surfaces, steps without railings, and low ceilings. In addition, there are risks inherent with natural desert flora, animals and insects on the Site. You agree to accept the Site in “as-is” condition “with all faults.”
We welcome all visitors regardless of their disability status. Individuals who would like to request a reasonable accommodation may do so by contacting, Info@FrankLloydWright.Org. Please provide at least seven days’ notice prior to your visit, as sufficient notice is required in order to provide certain accommodations. Please note that the Site is a national historic landmark and portions of the historic core are not fully accessible.
Tours and programs occur in specific areas of the Site which you are allowed to access by direction of Taliesin West staff. You agree that you will only access areas of the Site as directed by the tour guide and will not leave those areas or the presence of the Taliesin West Staff while the Tours or Programs are being conducted.
The Foundation has my full permission to use photographs and/or video with my image at the program for promotional purposes, as it deems appropriate. These purposes may be for internal or external use and may include collateral materials, newsletters, advertising, marketing, publicity, or other uses.
By agreeing to these terms, you and all persons named in this booking assume the aforementioned risks of the Site and hereby release and forever discharge the Foundation, and its officers, board, employees and volunteers, jointly and severally from any and all actions, causes of actions, claims and demands for, upon or by reason of any damage, loss or injury to person or property, while participating in the Tours and Programs or while you are on Site before or after the Tours and Programs.
You further agree that any and all claims that may arise relating to these terms shall be governed by the laws of Arizona and will be subject to exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona. You waive any rights to a jury trial.
