Camp Taliesin West

Explore architecture, science, engineering, art, and photography at Camp Taliesin West!

Located at Taliesin West, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Arizona home, Camp Taliesin West encourages participants to explore, create, and design as they engage in fun and educational activities.

Campers will learn from our unique, historic property and the principles of Wright, applying them to their own projects and adventures.

We strive to make our historic site available to everyone – particularly students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. Through our Foundation’s Community Access Program, qualifying students can attend a camp for free. Contact us at education@franklloydwright.org for additional information about financial support and an application.

Summer Camp

Design Your Dream Space: Advanced (ages 12–15)

June 13–17, 9 am–3 pm

July 25–29, 9 am–3 pm

Campers advance from designing their dream space to becoming junior architects. We’ll discuss how architects overcome design challenges like tricky environments, difficult landscapes, different materials… and even clients! Mimicking the design process architects follow from concept to design, we will create fully detailed 3D scale models of innovative community spaces we dream up. This camp also features a guest speaker – we will have the opportunity to talk to a practicing architect!

Daily lunch is included in this camp.

$350 per student; $315 for Foundation Members

Register for June 13–17

Register for July 25–29
