Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall appear in their fourth and final pairing on screen in this atmospheric film noir directed by John Huston. Army Veteran Frank McCloud (Bogart) visits Key Largo to visit the widow (Bacall) and father of the friend who was killed in Italy while serving under him. With a hurricane on the way, the hotel Nora and her father-in-law run has only six guests, one of whom, they soon realize, is the notorious gangster Johnny Rocco (Edward G. Robinson). Tensions rise when Rocco and his mobsters take over the hotel.
