SOLD OUT!
Carol Reed’s 1949 film noir, written by Graham Greene, features Joseph Cotten as novelist Holly Martins who, during a visit to postwar Vienna, begins investigating the death of his friend, a black-market profiteer played by Orson Welles. Corruption, love, murder, and a musical score by Anton Karas make this an atmospheric noir that culminates in a famous scene in the sewers beneath the city.
