In this Hitchcock classic Tony Wendice, a retired English tennis player, hires an acquaintance, Charles Swann, with a criminal record to murder his socialite wife Margot, who is having an affair. When all does not go to plan and Margo kills Swann in an act of self-defense, she is charged with the murder. Will Tony let her hang for the crime?
