About the Author
Sarah Rovang is an architectural historian and writer whose newly published Rizzoli book Through the Long Desert traces the intertwined journeys of Georgia O’Keeffe and Frank Lloyd Wright across the American landscape. Holding a Ph.D. in the history of art and architecture from Brown University, she has presented her work for the Frank Lloyd Wright Conservancy and served as a research fellow at the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum. Her award-winning fieldwork, supported by the Society of Architectural Historians’ H. Allen Brooks Fellowship, explores how modern design shapes our sense of place. She lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
