The Great Wave off Kanagawa, by Katsushika Hokusai appears in this photo of the Willey House master bedroom circa 1937. The hand drawn markings on the photograph show placement of the shelf that was designed to run around two sides of the room. The shelf and other built-ins were not completed until 2006.
