Summer Camp: Amazing Animal Architects (ages 6-8)

July 17, 2023 – July 21, 2023

Monday through Friday, July 17-21
9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Price: $400 general public, $360 for members

The first ever architects in the world were animals! For millions of years, animals have been perfecting the art of construction; creating cozy shelters, damming up rivers, and weaving wild webs. In this nature-focused camp, campers will learn about the daring animal engineers of the Sonoran Desert and beyond. At Taliesin West, Frank Lloyd Wright’s home and laboratory, campers will study animal construction, learn about biomimicry, and make their own architectural creations that are inspired by the natural world. Daily lunch is included in this camp.
