Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation Virtual Experiences

Ways to engage and interact online with Frank Lloyd Wright’s legacy

Now, more than ever, it’s important for us to remain connected — both to each other and to our sources of inspiration. The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation seeks to foster those connections, even when we cannot physically be together in the places that inspire us.

Whether you are already a Wright devotee or are using this time to explore his work (or even introduce your children to it!), please use these online tools to experience the Wright community: his sites, his philosophy and the legacy we together carry forward.

“We create our buildings and then they create us. Likewise, we construct our circle of friends and our communities and then they construct us. “

– Frank Lloyd Wright

Virtual Classroom

The Frank Lloyd Wright Virtual Classroom is a resource center developed by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation’s education department as a free online learning tool for K-12 students and virtual engagement for families. Combining fun, real-world lessons with Wright’s famed principles of organic architecture and solutions-based design, we begin with six STEAM-focused lessons to offer students hands-on activities that encourage them to think critically and creatively. The Virtual Classroom then continues weekly with more fun and engaging education activities for kids of all ages!

2020 Virtual Summer Camp

To continue the summer camp tradition while keeping campers and staff safe, this popular program has been re-tooled as a virtual camp this year. Combining creativity with academic relevance, the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation’s innovative Summer Art and Architecture Camps give students the opportunity to think and work outside the box. Virtual Summer Camp will continue to encourage students to explore, create, and design.
