Workshops For Adults -Succulent Gardening with Stephanie Halcrow: (Half-Day Workshop)

Capable of surviving in harsh climates with little water, succulents are a beautiful and unique species that many people are fond of! Join Master Gardener Stephanie Halcrow learn more about how these special plants grow and thrive in the desert and then make a piece of living art that you can take home with you. During this half-day workshop, you’ll receive educational instruction in caring for and planting succulents, enjoy an informative walk across Taliesin West’s property focusing on the surrounding landscape, and end your day with a hands-on activity planting a succulent in a pot you can then take home and use to decorate your living space or patio.

Meet Our Presenter

Stephanie Halcrow is passionate about sharing her love of gardening. She does this through hands-on educational classes to include her highly sought after class Succulents for Small Spaces. Because succulents thrive under stress, Stephanie believes succulents are the gateway plant to gardening. Stephanie is a Master Gardener in both Virginia and Arizona engaging the community at libraries, churches, community centers, Home Shows, and even the U.S. Botanical Garden in Washington D.C.
