The film, based on Sloan Wilson’s 1958 novel of the same name, follows two former teenage lovers from different social classes who reunite 20 years later, only to face the challenges of their own teenage children’s passionate romance from their previous marriages. Notably, the film features an iconic instrumental theme by Max Steiner.
