This episode of “Taliesin Talks” featured Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation preservation staff from Wright’s renowned summer home in Wisconsin. Guests discussed the extensive restoration work that has gone into the Hillside Theatre at Taliesin.

Hillside Theatre Curtain Restoration

Get a glimpse of the carefully completed restoration work for the exquisite Hillside Theatre Curtain, still being used in a functional theatre space in Spring Green, Wisconsin near Taliesin. The Hillside Curtain is one of the largest gifts Frank Lloyd Wright ever received and it is also one of the largest objects in the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation’s collection.

National Park Service Awards Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation Grant to Restore Taliesin Theatre

The “Save America’s Treasures” grant has awarded $320,000 toward a full restoration of the Hillside Theatre.
