CANCELED: Taliesin LIVE Presents Ten Tiny Dances

April 18, 2020
Taliesin West

Experience and celebrate the legacy of performing arts at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin West with a special live dance performance directed by acclaimed choreographer Carley Conder. Ten Tiny Dances is part two in a three-part dance series created by Carley Conder and performed at Taliesin West.

Beginning in 1938, Frank Lloyd Wright established Taliesin West—recently named a UNESCO World Heritage site—as a place of community, art, innovation, and performance. Now, we’re carrying on that legacy and inviting you to be part of it. In the second of three original live dance performances by CONDER|dance at Taliesin West, 10 choreographers will create original short dances for one very small stage.

In this explosive mix of Arizona’s past, present, and future dance makers, you’ll watch as the choreographers perform on a raised cube that has a playing space of 4×4 ft in the Cabaret at Taliesin West. This performance will feature choreographers and dancers from throughout Arizona who are known for breaking boundaries with their imaginative concepts and movement innovation.

Exclusive Offer (Optional)

Begin your experience at Taliesin West with a Night Lights Tour before the performance. We’re offering Taliesin LIVE performance guests this tour at a discounted rate. The romance of Taliesin West comes to life during this special evening tour, an excellent date night activity. Taliesin West’s fire-breathing dragon makes a guest appearance while Wright’s desert masterpiece glows warmly like a jewel under Arizona’s starry skies.
