Sunsets and Sips: Pavilion Terrace, Pavilion

September 9, 2021
Taliesin West

September 9, 2021 – 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.

Perched outside the Pavilion Entrance, the Pavilion Terrace is encircled by sculptures from the permanent collection, and exposed to endless blue skies above. With a peek at the city to the southwest and the Wi:kajasa (commonly known as the McDowell Mountains) to the northeast, your evening will transgress nestled up next to the mature citrus grove. The Pavilion, completed in 1957, was the last structure Wright oversaw the completion of. Much bigger than the Cabaret, the 108-seat theater was designed to showcase musical, dance and theatrical performances. We still use the Pavilion for public lectures and performances today!

Sunsets and Sips is a new happy hour program offered at Taliesin West. On this occasion, we invite guests to linger with a drink on the Pavilion Terrace and the Pavilion. All tickets come with a complimentary drink and access to these select spaces on property, with staff present to answer your questions. Bar service will be open until 7:30 for additional beverage purchases. Open spaces differ with each offering, allowing you to experience something different every time.

Tickets are $35 and include access to the program space, as well as one drink ticket (wine, beer or soda). Members receive an additional drink courtesy of our Membership Department.
