Martin House Curator Emeritus explores Arizona through the eyes and experience of Frank Lloyd Wright. Discover the influence of the region’s many inspirational elements.

Frank Lloyd Wright designed buildings in thirty-eight of the United States with a high concentration in the upper Midwest and Southwest. This presentation will explore Wright’s attraction to the Arizona’s desert environment through a selection of buildings representative of the architect’s attention to human existence in the uniquely harsh conditions of the Southwest.

Jack Quinan is Martin House Curator Emeritus and a member of the Board of Directors of the Martin House Restoration Corporation. He is a founding member of the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy and the author of several books on Frank Lloyd Wright.
