Friday Night Films

December 23, 2022

Friday, December 23 from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.

Watch films in style at Taliesin West. Our Friday Night Films provide a new way to enjoy the silver screen just as the Wrights did. Each month, we will screen a cinematic classic that had been watched by the Wrights and the Fellowship. Stay after for an exciting conversation about the film, its history, and how it might connect to Wright and his work.

Our feature is It’s a Wonderful Life (1946) – George Bailey has so many problems he is thinking about ending it all – and it’s Christmas! As the angels discuss George, we see his life in flashbacks. As George is about to jump from a bridge, he ends up rescuing his guardian angel, Clarence – who then shows George what his town would have looked like if it hadn’t been for all his good deeds over the years.
