Desert Walk – Stewards of the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy
April 1, 2023
Saturday, April 1
9 – 10:30 a.m.
Join us at Taliesin West along with the Stewards of the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy. We’ll meet at the ticketing kiosk, then take a short walk through the Historic Core that leads out into the desert, walking on a path against the McDowell mountains. Along the way, we will see how the desert landscape shaped Wright and his Apprentice’s work and how nature has changed over time.
Please note that this program walks over uneven ground for approximately 1.5 miles with little shade. The walk will take up to 90 minutes and includes stopping points along the way. We encourage all participants to bring the following supplies: sunglasses, hat, water, and sunscreen. Please wear close-toed shoes and dress for walking on a desert path.
This program grants guests access only to the program location. To see more of our property, please consider adding a tour to your program.
Tickets: $25
