Civil War to Sputnik: Music from the Life of Frank Lloyd Wright

September 15, 2019
Taliesin West

Frank Lloyd Wright’s life spanned an amazingly diverse time period both historically and musically. Arizona Opera and the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation are excited to present a recital of music from throughout this period performed by Arizona Opera Studio Artists in Wright’s Arizona home, Taliesin West.

Join Arizona Opera Studio Artists and the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation at Frank Lloyd Wright’s winter home and desert camp, Taliesin West, for a special performance of music from throughout Wright’s life (1867-1959). Enhance your experience by purchasing a VIP ticket with access to a post-recital reception in Wright’s intimate Cabaret Theatre, or add a full tour of Taliesin West to your visit.

In an upcoming opera, Arizona Opera will share an interpretation of Wright’s work and life in a revised and reimagined version of the critically acclaimed “Shining Brow.”
