Capping a city-wide celebration of the 150th birthday of Frank Lloyd Wright that opens on June 8th, the New York State Arts and Crafts Alliance will present a conference on the Buffalo region’s preeminent role in American Arts & Crafts.
An international list of speakers will convene October 20-22, 2017 at the University of Buffalo to discuss the connection between Buffalo’s Arts and Crafts innovators, the industrial character of the region, and other forces that shaped the Buffalo School of Arts and Crafts—a group that included most of the leading practitioners of Arts and Crafts design in the US.
